Browser Gaming on Mobile vs Desktop
You can play the games on this site on a computer, a tablet or a phone, and you can even join the same room from different devices. The experience is different on each, so here is how they compare and how to get the best from them.
Controls
On a computer, you move with W, A, S, D or the arrow keys and aim with the mouse. Shooting is the left mouse button or Space, and R reloads. On a touch screen, the left half of the screen is a move joystick and the right half is an aim joystick that fires automatically while your thumb is down. Mouse aiming is usually more precise, while touch controls are simpler to pick up.
Screen size and visibility
A large monitor shows the arena clearly, which helps in the huge Sniper Outpost map. On a phone, the picture shrinks to fit, so small details are harder to see. Landscape mode is strongly recommended on phones, because it gives you more width and room for both thumbs.
Performance and comfort
Computers generally keep a steadier frame rate. Phones can get warm during long sessions, and a hot phone slows itself down. Lower the brightness, close background apps and take breaks. Playing on a phone also drains battery faster, so keep a charger nearby for long sessions.
Which should you choose?
If you want the most precise aim, use a computer with a mouse. If you want a quick match anywhere, a phone is perfect. Tablets sit in the middle, with a bigger screen than a phone and the same touch controls. Whichever you use, read the How to Play guide for the controls and try Shotgun Corridor on a phone, where the small map fits the screen well.
